Wondering how to decorate your Christmas trees in a way that

1. It is all about colors: The first thing you need to decide
on is what the theme color of your tree would be! Silver and
gold are the common colors used by most people. If you want to
stand out from the crowd, my suggestion is to use a mixture of
red, white and silver colors. Make sure you choose a color
combination that would go well with your Christmas
ornamentation!
2. Decorate your tree: In order for your Christmas tree to look
classy, you should use a variety of ornaments of different
shapes and sizes to decorate your tree. I would recommend that
you buy large-sized balls and space them quite a bit from each
other; that really looks beautiful. In order to save money, you
should try to buy ornaments in sets. Besides being cheaper,
ornaments which come in sets add a lot of variety to your tree,
thereby making it even more beautiful!
3. A theme-less tree: If you ask me, the best way to make your
tree stand out from those of your neighbors is to make a tree
without any fixed theme color or ornamentation. Yep, in 2008,
go for a theme-less tree! There are two advantages of this -
first, it will make your tree unique, and second, you can use
many different types of decorations on the tree.
Many times children get excited about Christmas and make some
sort of Christmas decorations at their schools and then bring
them back home to put on the tree. Now, if your tree is limited
to a particular theme, be it in color or ornamentation, then
you won't be able to decorate your tree with the crafts created
by your children!
4. Try out some homemade decorations: Homemade decorations are
a good way to save a lot of money on Christmas decorations, not
to speak that they make your tree more unique and personal,
which in turn makes your family happy! You can engage yourself
and your children to create some really cool Christmas
decorations! Creating them is not as hard as you think!
Here are some ideas to get you started:
a) Make or buy pine cones, and then create little replicas of
Christmas trees out of them.
b) Buy some pie cleaners and make a reindeer from them. The
reindeer really makes for a cool Christmas tree
decoration!
